I wanna look skinnier!!! (not!!)

En esta oportunidad quise ir por un look más común (ojos, pestañas y rubor con labial neutro), solo para que vean mi manera de afinar el rostro en un solo paso muy sencillo. El tip es para aquellas que quieren aparentar un rostro más delgado (caras redondas u ovaladas), obvio que la aplicación varía dependiendo de cada tipo de cara así que cuidado con abusar de él eh!!

El tip es usar bronceador (bronzing powder) debajo del pómulo (esto da más profundidad). Eso es todo! Tendrán una cara más refinada y si desean, den más luz con un iluminador por encima de este a la altura de la comisura del ojo aproximadamente (solo un poquito!!) Recuerden de no abusar del bronceador pues se verá muy recargado (yo no suelo usar mucho pero esta vez exageré un poco para que vean el efecto y puedan aplicarlo)

This time I wanted to go for a more common look (eyes, lashes, y blush with neutral lips), only for you to see my way to make a thinner face in one easy step. The tip is for those who want to appear a skinnier face (round and oval faces), obviously the appliance varies depending of the tip of face of each one so careful to abuse of it!!!

The tip is to use bronzing powder under the cheekbone (this will give you depth) That´s it! You´ll have a thinner face and if you want, you can give more light with a luminizer, apply it up to the corner of the eye (just a bit!) Remember not to abuse of it or you´ll look overloaded (I don´t usually use much, but this time I used a lot so you can see the effect and can use it)

Este outfit lo tenía rondando en mi cabeza por más de una semana gracias a que me acordé de la existencia de esta chompa (se la había prestado a mi hermana mayor y jamás se la pedí de vuelta); desde entonces, tenía muchas ganas de ponérmelo pero no sabía cuando sería una buena ocasión, entonces, cuando mi abuela paterna nos invitó a almorzar a su casa supe que esto era lo que usaría ese día. 
Bueno, como les decía, cuando vi la chompa supe que debía usarla con una blusa debajo y con pantalón de jean, pero sabía que sería muy simple así que le agregué un collar grande. Ya cuando me estaba vistiendo, me di cuenta que si salía así, moriría de frío; por lo que, decidí agregarle una casaca de cuero, con lo que me abrigaría más y lograría darle un estilo rocker a mi outfit. 
Realmente les recomiendo este tipo de combinaciones, son bastante prácticas y versátiles, ya que las pueden usar con zapatos altos, lo que hace que sean adecuadas para ir a comer con las amigas y tomar un trago; y también, las pueden usar con balerinas o botines cuando necesiten estar más cómodas durante todo el día. Espero les guste.

Las fotos están un poco oscuras, a Marlie y a mi se nos hizo tarde y fue lo mejor que pudimos hacer, por favor, disculpen por esto.

I have this sweater for a while now but i totally forgot about it, so when i saw it again, this outfit came right away to my mind, although i added the leather jacket later coz it was cold  and also i wanted to give the outfit a rocker style. 
I really recommend this kind of outfits because of its versatility and practicality, you can easily go out for a drink with your friends with it just adding a pair of high heels, or if you need to do some errands and you need to be comfortable, you can also wear it with flats or ankle boots. Anyway, ended up really happy with the result, i hope you like it too.

Tuve uno de esos días en los que simplemente quieres quedarte en casa en pijama pero no puedes porque tienes cosas que hacer, y como tenía 0 ganas de pensar que ponerme, decidí armar algo rápido y cómodo pero sin perder mi estilo. Espero les guste.

La camisa es de mi mamá, le he pedido que me la regale por años pero no quiere porque le recuerda a su juventud, así que con esfuerzo logré que al menos me la prestara, lo cual me hizo feliz y creo que es lo que también hizo que mi outfit no fuera aburrido; yo la considero un statement piece (una prenda que resalta, cambia y le da personalidad a un outfit). Respecto al polo, debo admitir que fue algo de casualidad, primero me había probado otra cosa con ese polo debajo y cuando me estaba poniendo la camisa para ver bien si eso era lo que me iba a poner, mi hermana me vio y dijo que se veía bien así. Ya con eso, solo agregué un pantalón negro, y mis creepers con medias pequeñitas, como pueden ver.

Had one of those days in which all i wanted was to stay in pjs and at my home, but i had some errands to do so feeling extra lazy to choose my outfit, i managed to put together this one, and i ended up really liking it. The plaid shirt is from my mom, i've been asking her to give it to me for years now, but she never accepts because it reminds her about her youth. Still, i managed to borrow it from her and i think it makes the outfit joyful ( it's a statement piece for me). The other clothes came together easily, i was already wearing the tshirt before trying the plaid shirt, and my sister realized they looked well together when i was putting it on. The rest is history, i just had to add some black pants and my creepers, and that was it. Went out comfortable and really liking what i was wearing plus it was ready fast, so what else can i ask for?. Hope you like it .

The weather was perrr - fect!!

Un poco tarde pero… Feliz 28 de Julio para todos!

Fui a la riquísima Pucallpa ubicada en el departamento de Ucayali por fiestas y llegamos hasta los 33 grados con más de 80% de humedad por aquellos días, así que obviamente hacía calor, calor ¡mucho calor! Hubiera querido dejarles más fotos pero lamentablemente mi hermana no es muy buena fotógrafa (y yo que soy una gran modelo) así que esto es lo que hay (lo sé), les comento brevemente.

Para el mega calor que hace por ahí, solo era recomendable usar cinco cositas muy básicas:

1.       Base (ya saben, fluido de base para quienes no tienen muchas “imperfecciones”: dícese manchas, acné, ojeras, etc.)

2.       Corrector ( solo si tienen ojeras, obvio)

3.       Lápiz de cejas ( también puede ser para ojos, ya les enseñaré)

4.       Rimel (AKA: máscara para pestañas)

5.       Labial (si pueden con filtro solar sería per-fect!)

Esta vez no usé ningún polvo ni bronceador por el calor tan extremo que hacía y preferí un color de labial fuerte ya que es un look súper natural.

A Little bit late but… Happy holidays to all my peruvian fellas

I went to my exquisite Pucallpa, located in Ucayali for these holidays, and we got to 33 degrees (celsius) with over 80% of humidity in those days, so it was obviously  hot hot hot… super hot! I would have loved to give you more photos but my sister is not a great photographer (is the truth ok? … And I´m the model) so this is it (I know), I´ll tell you.

For this mega hot weather, it was only recommendable for me to use five very basic things:

1.    Foundation ( You know, liquid always to a more natural look, and Fluid for those who have little imperfections: you know, acne, dark spots and so)

2.    Concealer (If you need one, obviously)

3.    Brow pencil (or whatever other product you may have for your brows)

4.    Mascara (waterproof, at least for this weather)

5.    Lipstick  ( If you have one with SPF that would be great, and yessss, do not! Wear gloss in summer!)

This time I did not use any powder or bronzer because of the extreme weather and I preferred a strong lip color as it is a super natural look.

I got lost in the sounds

Esto fue lo que usé el 28  para salir a almorzar con mi familia. Fuimos a un restaurante de comida típica, y con mi hermana decidimos que aprovecharíamos para tomar algunas fotos por ahí. Al caminar un poco por el restaurante vimos este pedazo de chacra y nos pareció lindo para tomar fotos, así que hicimos lo mejor que pudimos con poco tiempo y con el hecho que aún somos nuevas en esto de tomar fotos para un blog. A pesar de todas nuestras limitaciones fue muy divertido hacerlo, y fue aún más gracioso ver las fotos después en la laptop de Marlie, ya que al inicio ella no se dio cuenta que las fotos estaban desenfocadas, y yo tenia unas fotos que si les digo que estaban terribles es poco. Como dice ella: "muchas fueron las tomadas pero muy pocas las escogidas".

Ahora si, sobre el outfit, bueno, la verdad es que lo fui armando a raíz que no encontraba lo que había pensado ponerme, lo cual es muy raro porque solo viaje con una maleta. Y bueno, la falda la tengo desde hace como tres años, si no me equivoco, y siempre me ha gustado que pueda usarla en cualquier estación; la chompa me la puse porque es abrigadora y algo me decía que haría frío en el restaurante por mas de que había sol, así que decidí ir preparada, pero para no exagerar solo me puse un polo delgado debajo. Acerca de las medias, decidí usarlas para darle un toque extra al outfit, además que, así también me abrigaba un poco más y creo que quedo bien. Los aretes los compre dos días antes con una de mis mejores amigas de toda la vida. Espero les guste.

This is what i wore for Peru's independence day. Went out to eat with my family to a restaurant of typical peruvian food. My sister and i decided to take some pictures there, so while we were walking around, we saw this spot and we knew that we had to take the photos there. We did our best with few time and with the fact that we are really new doing this, it was really fun though, we got a lot to laugh.

About the outfit, well, i was planning to wear other things but couldn't find them even though i travel just with one suitcase, and well, at the end i chose this skirt, which i have for like three years now, love that i can wear it at any time of the year. The sweater is really warm and comfy, also i thought to wear it coz something told me that it was going to be cold at the restaurant. And at the end, i decided to add the socks to make the outfit more complex instead of just wear darker tights. Hope you like it.
